Reading Reflection T2W3

WALT: Use what we already know to make sense of what we read. This week we had to do a KVL chart about monarch butterflies. Before we read the book we had to write down what we already know and vocabulary we thought we might find in the story.  After we read the book we wrote down new things that we learnt. What do you know about butterflies? The most interesting fact I found out was that they only stay alive for 60 or 70 days.

WALT: Create a poster to persuade others to read book. This week for literacy we had to make an ad to get people to buy or read a book we have read. We looked at ads to see how they attracted people's attention. We had to decide if we wanted to buy it or not. Our poster had to include catchy questions and statements to get people's attention.  Would you want to buy or read this book?
